I like to make things. But what I really like is to make meaningful things. Each piece I create is made from a deep place. A place of questioning and seeking out meaning. I dig deep into ideas and then I create images that shine light into the darkness. I want you to have something not only of beauty that uplifts you, but something that speaks of hidden truths and deeper ways, even if it's only a hint. I hope that you find something here that calls to the deep treasures of light that are hidden all around us.
This feature collection explores the concept of 'the fullness of time.' Such. a. big. concept. No wonder it took me almost a year to create this collection! You could say that's my motivation--the belief that there is more than meets the eye, more then we see on the surface. What's underneath? What came before or is coming after? What is the deeper meaning hidden right here in the ordinary?
I follow the light through life, painting and writing as I go in the hopes that I won't miss any of the treasure that is all around.
